This year has been filled with joys, celebrations, challenges, and new beginnings. As I enter into the last day of the year I look forward to the possibilities of 2023. I don’t do resolutions rather I do missional words for the year. 2022’s word was rest. I had my second surgery in the last eighteen months and I experienced a lot of healing and rest this past year. As I begin looking back on 2022, I can put those surgeries behind me and I continually thank God for the healing He has done. I faced challenges during both those surgeries and recoveries, yet He was there, holding me, and walking alongside me.
As 2023 nears I am looking forward to my new words, Trust and Grow. I’m excited about the possibilities in this new year and I am looking forward to the year ahead.

Lord as the year ends, I reflect on the blessings, health concerns, advancements, and challenges I faced, and I thank You for those. Thank You for never leaving me, and for always going before me. I pray for 2023 that I may trust You more and grow in Your love and grace. Thank You, Father. I ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
