Faithfulness Always Rises
Orange ascends the horizon.
Crashing, ebb, flow, crash
Anticipating
The Son is faithful
Clouds roll in
Thunder strikes
The Son is faithful
Can’t see through
Always shines through
Warmth on my face
Light on my eyes
Faith in my soul
The Son is faithful
Crashing, ebb, flow, crash
Anticipating
Knowing
Counting on
The Son is faithful
I wrote this to reflect the light we find in God and His faithfulness.
For another quick read this week, check out this post.
Today I keep being reminded that God is faithful even when we humans are not. We fail each other but God doesn’t fail us. When He promises something, He delivers. At times we get our prayers answered with “no” but that doesn’t mean He isn’t faithful. It just means something else is in store.
God promised Abram that they would have as many descendants as stars in the sky. (Genesis 15:5b).
Doubts fill our human minds since the couple was well into their years by then.
Abram and Sarai’s ages by human standards are absurd for child birthing, but not for God.
Anything is possible with God.
God waited 25 years before He fulfilled His promise to them.
Abram and Sarai tried taking matters into their own hands, but that wasn’t God’s plan to fulfill His promise. (Genesis 16)
God saw them through this situation and the waiting of 25 long years and delivered on His promise. God fulfills His promises with His people, He loves us and cares about us. At times it can be hard to understand why things are happening, but have faith that God has everything under control.
What are you waiting on today?
Where do you see God’s faithfulness?
This is beautiful! He is so faithful to us in every way!
Yes He is Stacey!! Thank you for reading.
